CMS System Required

I need quotes on a content management system for a simple website (should not be encrypted)

It is for band websites, so should have an admin backend which would let them update details, but still within the set site template (eg gig dates etc within tables, new posts etc). Should have all the usual functions of a band site like biog pages, some sort of gallery that the band can upload to from the admin area, a forum. It should be easy to pass things like the news posts to the forum for commenting on. Also a download manager would be very useful. It should also be very easy to add additional pages, probably through the admin section.

Feel free to link me to any programs you think would help me acheive this myself, or let me know that you intend to use them. Integration of many open source projects would be fine, as long as it all works.

Rather than use xoops or phpnuke, i would like a simpler system, that would allow the actual design, layout, and theme of the site to be easier to implement, somehow in HTML.

If anyone can help please reply asap to

streetmedia@artisites.com

Regards

How can these be easy when you can't code? You wouldnt know would you .

just playing

Anywho, do you already have a forum, or are you wanting someone to already edit a licensed code of a forum to work with a news script? Or do you want a simple forum coded? That would be twice the work.

I am interested though.

Simpler then Xoops/phpnuke? Man - you need a developer to build you CMS for dummies. Reading your post, sure does seem like you are not willing to shell some green. You probably will not find what you are looking for. If you do, let me know, would you please?

There is no readily available simple open source CMS. I mean as simple as you want. But you can take these open source CMS and make it very simple, just like you want. Now if you don't know coding, let a developer do it for you and for that, you need to shed some $$$.

And IF you are interested in getting it done, let me know - will do it for ya for cheap. .NET/Xoops/PhpNuke - whatever you want.

Some green? As in, asking for quotes? RE: letting you know, sorry but the green involved will not be coming your way, and though all your comments are appreciated by me, my client also read this post and does not want any involvement with aabcon.com or its opinions.

I'll keep this bookmarked; if the project goes tits up I can get in touch for xoops etc stuff, and in the furture

Cheers to everyone who mailed as requested, I'll try to get back to everyone today.
