Cookies Needed.
Hello, Simple thing. I have a site and i need a cookie so people can stay logged in. And so they dont have to resignin every time they go back. I use sessions now, but it doesnt hold well and poeple get logged out. So, im assuming a cookie would fix this. If not, tell me how i would

Cookies
cookies can tell your server who is visiting the page, you woudl still need to check this information against a database or list of users.

Do you have session_start() on all the pages they must stay logged on? Sessions should handle it all, and are much more secure than cookies. With cookies you must worry about cookie poisoning, or a malicious user putting false data into his cookie to gain access to things he not supposed to. Stick with your sessions.
