Digibug currently has 2 contractor openings (updated 1/21/2005) Digibug is looking for talented and results-oriented Web/Application developers to join our team either full-time or as contractors (2 FT positions available). We need smart people, but most importantly developers who know how to deliver code quickly and with high quality. We are building interesting technologies for our clients such as Polaroid (http://www.polaroidpics.com) and to grow our product foundation and we need a strong team to move forward. Qualifications - Demonstrated in developing Web-based and/or client-server applications - Strong experience with HTML, CSS, and Java Script - Strong programming experience building Web applications with PHP - Experience using relational DBMSs such as Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL - Awareness of performance considerations with database design and web pages - 2-3 years of experience in Web technology - BS/MS in Computer Science or similar Desirable Skills - Understanding and expreience with object-oriented design and development - Java, JSP/Servlets, and JDBC experience strongly desired - Tomcat, Apache, Linux (RedHat) and open source development environments - Development of multi-tiered database applications - Macromedia Flash/Flex experience |
