The role:

You will be joining a friendly and established software engineering team, developing a suite of integrated back-end software applications. Your skills will be kept up to date, working on challenging projects across the global Smart Card industry and utilising the latest Java, Enterprise Java, Web, Mobile and secure transaction technologies. There is opportunity to transfer between product development teams, technical and personal development training and good onward career progression.

Chippenham, Wiltshire UK. Commutable from Bath, Bristol, Swindon etc.

The person:

• Proven high-quality Java and/or Enterprise Java coding abilities
• Passion for Web and software development technologies
• Team player, with excellent communication skills
• Good attention to detail
• Enthusiastic and proactive

Technology mix:

• Java 1.5+, Enterprise Java, JavaEE5, EJB3, JPA, Eclipse or NetBeans, Web Services, Spring, SQL, Oracle
