The Java Developer challenge:

Your opportunity to develop the enterprise-grade software solutions that continue to define how people all over the world travel, discover, shop and enjoy their home city or travel destinations.

The Java Developer role:

Developing the suite of integrated software applications that underpin the global Smart Card industry - chip and pin cards, smartphone applications, interactive touchscreen kiosks and powerful back office applications. Your skills will be kept up to date, developing powerful back-end systems and utilising the latest Java, Enterprise Java, Web, Mobile and secure transaction technologies. You’ll be working in two-week sprints, collaborating with expert colleagues from systems architecture, software testing, usability and project management. Opportunity to transfer between project teams, and strong career progression.

Wiltshire UK. Commutable from Bath, Bristol, Swindon etc.

The ideal candidate for Java Developer:

• Team player, with excellent communication skills
• Proven high-quality core Java / Java EE / Enterprise Java coding abilities
• Passion for Web and software development technologies
• Good attention to detail
• Enthusiastic and proactive

Technology mix:

• Core Java / Java SE/J2SE / Java EE / Enterprise Java / JavaEE5, EJB3, JPA, Android / Mobile, Eclipse / NetBeans, Web Services, Spring, Oracle / SQL
