Ideal candidate has been on a beta team or two, opened the Flash player in notepad at least once and has experimented with creating visual elements that appear to follow the laws of physics (balls bouncing... increasing gravity... rain falling... etc.).

Responsibilities:

Must be able to effectively multi-task and transition efficiently from the ‘big picture’ to the minute details of a specific project.

Skills:

*ActionScript 1.0 (2.0 a plus)
*Easing algorithms / complex user interactivity
*Extensive experience with data interaction
*Flash Remoting
*Experience with XML parsing
*Web Services & Flash
*FlashCom Server major plus
*Experience building components from scratch and extending MM components
*Flash MX components
*UML / OOA / OOD

*Experience in a strong-type environment a plus.

Only those with a minimum of 4 years documented experience need apply.

Hello, I'm a Senior Flash Software Developer. I don't have professional experience making graphics or websites. I'm experienced in creating enterprise applications for government agencies and for the telecommunications industry. If you have need of a true software developer using Flash MX 2004, I'm the one you want. I am currently in Freehold, NJ. I can typically relocate to anywhere in the country within 3 days notice, though I offer a substantial rate discount on telecommuting positions. I prefer corp-to-corp contracts, but am ready to finally commit to full time position and settle in.
