J2EE, java with db position WANTED!

Agile Infotech is currently staffing a J2EE/EJB architect. Candidate must have Enterprise design, and implementation experience. Candidate must possess strong hands on experience with J2EE/EJB, UML and XML. Candidate will be involved with emerging application technologies specifically MDA (Model Driven Architecture).


Minimum 7+ years experience handling enterprise level technical design and architecture responsibilities.
Software Skills:
-Expert UML modeler using XDE, OptimalJ, or TogetherJ (structure, behavior, interaction diagrams and OCL); familiar with UML 2.0 features
-Significant hands-on experience with tools, such as xmlspy or equivalent, for XML-based information modeling and defining XSLT transformations.
-Demonstrated track record in component re-use via design and process pattern definition, tailoring, and management.
-Strong enterprise architecture background using one or more mainstream J2EE application server products (BEA Weblogic a plus); successful candidate’s J2EE background will include hands-on design and development with EJB, JCA, and JMS technologies as well as JSPs/servlets
-Project background to-date will include design and deployment of service-oriented architectures that leverage web services and XML based messaging.
-Familiar with software change management, configuration management, build, and deployment processes in a enterprise environment of re-useable Java components. Hardware Skills: IBM AIX, HP-UX, MS Windows server platforms.
- Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
