Senior Java Developer - CheetahMail

Responsibilities:

Summary:
This position emphasizes web application development on Java, with a strong focus on object-oriented Programming. The systems in question are high performance, high volume and high availability,requiring a good understanding of large multi-machine systems with attention to detail married with sensitivity for performance.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be working with a high performing and agile team of software developers to design, develop and maintain the next generation high volume, digital marketing platform using high performance opensource and proprietary tools:

In accordance to requirements and specifications.
Within established or defined quality and performance standards.
Within agreed upon delivery timeline.

Develope code in Java to facilitate the delivery and reporting of industry leading email platform.
Provide technical support for the projects/programs your team work on, and interacting with Project
and Development Managers, Technical Lead, Product Analysts, QA Project Leads and others to ensure successful delivery of the same.
Working with members of the Product Development group to ensure high fidelity with stakeholder
vision.
Communicate work progress and all (work related) pertinent information in an accurate and timely
manner to the Scrum team, Scrum Master and Development Manager.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
At least 6 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Experience in medium/large Service Oriented Architecture transformation projects
in Business Services identification and orchestration
Superior writing and communication skills. Able to deliver insightful presentations, opinion and guidance.
Significant commercial development experience with the following technologies:

Java Enterprise Edition 5
SOA Framework, JMS, MQ, Restful Web Services
Oracle PL/SQL, DAO, SQL Optimization
Other supporting technologies which are Jboss, Eclipse, Maven, Junit, Git.
