Lead Developer (PHP / UNIX / ORACLE) Needed in NYC

We are seeking to hire a senior programmer / technical director with extensive website development and UNIX system administration experience who wants to be part of a growing company. Must be able to work out of our New York City office. The position requires strong technical, interpersonal and communication skills, a very high level of competence and an energetic and enthusiastic personality.

Requirements:

1.) Must have extensive experience in developing complex database driven high traffic websites (5 years minimum).

2.) Must be very familiar with PHP, Java / Javascript and we would prefer if you have some experience with AJAX, Actionscript, C/C++, SQL, Perl, TCL and UNIX shell programming.

3.) Extensive Sun and Linux system administration experience and some DBA experience.

4.) Network management experience with Raptor and Linux IP tables firewalls, Cisco routers and other related technologies.

5.) Relational database experience, ideally with Oracle, postgress and MySQL.

6.) Strong interpersonal, project management, writing and communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
