We are looking for the server security expert specializing in Linux; 5-6 years in the field;

General areas:

Check service pack levels
Check for missing security patches
Check for security alerts/vulnerabilities
Detect unnecessary shares
Detect unnecessary open ports
Detect new security holes using scan comparisons
Check for unused user accounts
Check password policy and strength
Detect potential Trojans on servers and workstations
Determine if the OS is disclosing too much information

Is this a remote job? If so, I may be interested. I currently maintain (and co-maintain) 5+ linux servers... mostly debian. Run rsync backup service, account administration, samba, ftp, web, etc. Am familiar with most aspects of linux.
