Hiring - London - DBA / WebDev / PHP & AQL

A leading provider of corporate and financial information to the Oil and Gas industry, which has been in operation for over 20 years with operations in North America and the UK is looking for a dynamic, experienced and multi-skilled developer to join the team. The successful candidate will liaise closely with our sales teams and content development managers to drive forward the current product and development new ones based on market feedback. You should also be able to manage your own work as well work closely with our small dedicated analyst team.

The role will provided a varied and challenging assortment of work and projects with the opportunity to build and develop new skill sets as well as the potential to hire and project manage a small team. Potential projects include support and development of a large piece of business intelligence software, development and tuning of semantic technology, mobile app development, data gathering and manipulation from multiple SQL databases, data scraping, improving workflow and automation of current business processes and API development.

This is a great opportunity to get in at the ground level of a brand new development team, working in a relaxed and casual environment near Liverpool Street. For the right candidate it will provide a diverse and exciting workload with great opportunities for personal development.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

Experience of working in Agile environments – Mandatory
.Net Experience – Intermediate+
PHP - Advanced
SQL – Advanced
HTML / jQuery / CSS – Preferred
Project Management Experience – Preferred
XCode Experience – A bonus
