mysql & php search function

hello,

my website is mainly regarding vacation rentals of all kind in Spain and is in English, German and Spanish.

I would like to add a search function with different possibilities for the visitors and hope it is ok to show a link to a page (see information in the center) I prepared in order to explain what I would like to set up:

I only know that this search – type of accommodation, province, location etc. -
could be done somehow with a database in mysql and a search query (full search text)in php.
The result of any search done by a visitor should show a little information on the accommodation and a link to the respective page.

My web runs on Linux. PHP and Mysql are installed on the server.
