Need a php script for phpbb

Hello,

I am looking for a script or wanting a script made " stable" that will allow me to manage users kind of like on a payment system. Say, they paid for one months service and if they don't renew it, they lose their account on the board.

It would be nice to have these options:
Mothly
quarterly
half a year
or full year

I'm not sure that this is even possible but I don't want to have to spend all my time around my pc to set up there accounts an manage them lol.

I am willing to pay a reasonible amount if need be.

Thanks,
Matt.

Okay, first, the good news: it's definitely possible. That's not the issue. The issue for you appears to be ability and money. It doesn't appear that you have the know how/want to learn and don't have a lot of money. Here are my thoughts.

1. Credit card processing gateways like authorize.net usually give you a number of sample scripts that show you how to process credit cards as well as 24x7 support on those scripts. Again, they'll show you how to put a charge through. So that part you just have to tailor to your needs. Now for things like how often you want to charge a credit card, etc., you'll have to code yourself.
2. One time charges are MUCH safer than recurring charges. Why? Because for one time charges, there's no need to store the user's credit card info on your server. Obviously, you need to store the user's credit card info for recurring charges. As a number of large sites have proven (including yahoo and ebay) a site can be hacked. Personally, I only trust the big time companies with monthly charges to my credit card and, again, that still doesn't guarantee you total saftey. So understand where your users are coming from. They may not be comfortable giving you their credit card info for recurring charges. Just something to think about.
3. You're either going to have to roll up your sleeves and learn a little php (or something else) or you'll have to pay someone. And because of the nature of what you want, it's not really a one time job. You'll need a dedicated developer on hand or, as mentioned previously, roll up your sleeves and get acquainted with php.

Finally, I know of a number of sites that offer to pretty much do everything for you. Do a search on google for terms like "credit card gateway" or "credit card processing" or something similar. Of course, it ain't free! Every time you charge someone's credit card, the credit card issuer charges you money, so definitely forget the idea of free. Anyway, good luck.

Well, prices my be a problem but i am not that cheap. I work all day long so I would be willing to pay for this script. But i don't see to understand why I would need someone to continue helping me with the script once it was created? I was thinking of down the lines of something like a hosting company uses. You sign up and pay then your account is created.

I really don't know any php thats why I am asking here. I have messed a little with edting the scripts as far as installing phpbb hacks and what not but thats about as far as I go with php lol. I have never realy learned values or arrays or anything in the nature of php.

Edit:
also, i have thought about the payment deal and it will be mostly localy so mail payments will be accepted aswell but, will not offer instant set up.
