Recommend a script and earn $$$

Hi,

I'm looking for a PHP/MySQL or CGI based file management script that will enable the following:

- User management, access/feature control
- Upload/download files
- Preview files (eg: images)
- Date and describe files
- Search

I have found the following script - http://www.afian.com - that contains all the features I require.

Ideally, I'd like to find a free open source script that has all the same features along with a good support base.

If someone can recommend a script they know, or have developed themselves I will be happy to pay for the service.

Thanks,
Andy

I've created a similar script.

What mine does is it enables a user to register and then log in. After the user is logged in, he/she can then upload a file or files, as many a they want as they can select the amount of files to upload.
It then will upload the file/files selected to a folder that was created when they registered.
The files are then viewed in list form with a link to download each file which will take the user either to view the file in a new window if it is text based or an image, or the download dialog screen will pop up to download the file.
Along with each file it will state the size of the file, and the max directory size as there is a limit which can be changed. This script also has the ability to rename each file in the directory and to also delete each file.

The script does not have an admin feature, search feature, preview feature or description of the files, however I can implement this in for you if you wish, however at a price.

Please e-mail or PM me if you have any questions.

PowerfulSquid has exceeded their stored private messages quota and can not accept further messages until they clear some space.

Can't seem to send you a PM???

No, there are limits for new users as to how many PMs they can store with their profile. Perhaps you should try emailing him instead.
