"Retina-Designs.com" - Paid work, many positions available

I am starting a web design business at the moment and am looking for any designers/coders/marketers that may be interested. Currently, the team consists of 2 coders and 2 designers. Our combined knowledge base covers php, mysql, css, javascript, html, graphic design (photoshop mainly) and a bit of 3D modelling.

I am looking to hire anyone who feels they could offer something to the company, and any work contributed will be paid for accordingly. If you are interested, you can either send me an email (rob@mastahuk.com) or contact me on msn (mastah_uk@hotmail.com). All I ask is that you are reliable and dedicated.

I'm currently setting up a backend system to organise all of the company's operations, such as adding clients, managing projects, viewing information and communications between staff members. Nothing can go ahead until this is finished so if you can help out at this stage, all the better!

South West UK - in Plymouth. Obviously it would be ideal to work with people who are fairly local, but I am not at all against working with people from the US, or wherever (just as long as they speak English!).

I'm up in the Midlands. I currently have a full time job but I'm looking for extra work out of office hours. How much work is required? I have 2 years experience in the web design industry with html, php and MySQL skills as well as CSS and a little javascript. I mainly use Dreamweaver and Photoshop.

Until recently I was the only coder, however I have hired one person already today. I am looking to hire perhaps one more coder, and your skills are just the kind of thing we are looking for.

How much work that will be required of you will depend on the number of clients we have and the size of a project. I will simply assign individual tasks to each member of staff, for which they will be paid a royalty of the final project price depending on the amount of work produced.

We currently have 2 designers and no people doing any marketing full time for us. One of the designers has some experience with marketing, so he is currently doing both. I'd be willing to hire either another designer or a marketer if anyone is interested.

french help accepted ?

i'm probably a little far as i live in paris but i've been working at home for months on a similar project and i guess we could set up something to work from a distance.
some skills are :

server-side
good php knowledge, used to all classical manipulations with files, images, databases, sessions, download management... though i'll probably be a novice on any of the pre-coded and usual libraries. (i'd rather use classical more than object prog in php most of the time but will handle both if necessary)
i used asp and perl a few times but definitely will not pretend to be a developper in any of those.

databases
good mysql knowledge, workarounds to limitations, (i've dreamt for some time to create a set of functions that would turn it into a real relational database...)
possibly any other db through odbc or with a little work i could probably manage ADO DAO as well. used access quite a lot, and oracle a few times.

of course some html, some javascript (with a little restriction : QT "if a script has to be rewritten three times to work in tree different navigators, then it's not a good script"), CSSs... and a few croos-browsers issues but nobody knows them all...

operating systems
i'll manage rather properly with any nt-based system, and apart from some networking 9x as well.
the big draft though it will probably soon change is i dunno much on unix if at all...

if interested, my email (and msn log) is alexb_orgAThotmailDOTcom.

ps : some french people do work more than 35 hours a week !

Thanks for all of the interest many of you have shown towards this project. Sorry, but it seems that we now have enough plenty of staff and so I won't be taking on anybody new for the time being. I'll advertise back here in the future if ever more staff are required.
