[Sunrise Interactive] New 2D MMORPG

I am searching for a Team to develop a new multiplayer online game. I don't know what programming language we should use, but I suggest VB6. (because it is easy)

I need someone to write the client and server applications because I can't handle the realtionship between client /server. Whoever does this can of course use a template (mhmm... maybe Elysium Diamond or vbGore) and can bring in his own ideas.

I would like the game interface to look like the interface of RMXP (the online one, the GUI of Netplay)
But I'll create the interface, so don't mention.

Of cource these are only Ideas so I am open to all new ones.
And, yes! I know this is a big project with much effort included, but I am ready to pay for all server and stuff we will need and if we need some professinal help I will see to get someone payed to help us out.

Sow... I would be very happy if I get some responses to this and I will pay people working on this project at the point where we have a basic game (client/server) running. (If the client and server application was written from scrap)

Thanks to all at this point, and good posting.

Please visit and register at the new forums I put up for this project. www .sunrise-interactive. de

regards, Miles

1. I just want to say that the difficulty of learning any programming language will pale in comparison to the complexity of such a project. You should choose your language on other grounds...

2. Your site is down / url wrong.

3. If you want people's interest you should mention a few things about your planned game. Right now it sound like you just want to glue some bits and pieces of various Online RPG makers together...

Homepage and forums are down now... and will not come up at this time.

What we want to create:

- A 2D MMORPG

I am open to all suggestions so I am not sure how it is going to look. At this time my team and I are writing it in VB6 of cource it would be great if we hab some good c/c++ developers but that is not so now.

So you and your "team" are writing a game but have no idea whatsoever on how it should look?

I don't want to sound to harsh but I think you'd be better off joining one of the numerous projects out there that actually has a vision...
