Teradata DBA/Developer wanted in DC area

A large financial customer in Vienna, VA is seeking a Teradata Programmer/DBA for a long-term contract opportunity (which maybe fulltime in the future)

Position Description:
Provide in-depth systems analysis, program development and support in a MVS mainframe, Teradata data warehousing environment. Perform all aspects of systems life cycle from requirements definition to implementation and support. Design, develop, implement, document, and support data warehousing applications for enhancements and strategic projects. Provide support of existing data warehousing applications.

Skills Required:
Over five years experience in a Teradata, data warehousing environment

Over five years experience in SQL and extract, transform and load (ETL) programming
Strong mainframe skills including COBOL, MVS, JCL, CA7, TSO/SPF, Xpeditor and FileAid
Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Exceptional analytical experience of complex applications and data relationships
Strong written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
Strong drive for results and ability to work independently
Self starter with proven innovation skills
Ability to work with cross-functional teams
Demonstrated commitment to quality and project timing
Experience with financial business functions a plus
