Wanted: Boston area security developer/Architect
I am seeking a security development engineer/architect. This is a mission critical role, and the person who fills it will be responsible for architecture, design and development of various security features for my client’s products. This person will be a key player on my client’s security team, and will work closely with development, QA and other internal groups to deliver highly reliable and secure products. In addition to development-oriented tasks, this person will provide security-related expertise to the rest of the company, and will be responsible for reviewing the security of various products and features. Ancillary tasks may include conducting security briefings with customers and developing security related documentation.
It is critical that the ideal candidate possess a deep understanding of security areas, and particularly, how to best incorporate cutting-edge security technology into commercial software applications. Knowledge of areas such as PKI, x.509, SSL, access control frameworks, crypto algorithms and schemes and authentication protocols is critical. This is a senior level role, so the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years experience in development and security design. This position requires previous (or current) hands-on C++ development experience-a security architect who hasn’t been hands-on recently should not be discouraged from applying.
My client will provide relocation assistance for the right candidate. No sponsorship/transfer is available. Salary is flexible, but will most likely fall in the $120,000-$130,000 range. Email resume to elizabeth_h@akexec.com.
