Wanted: Contractor for PHP/MySQL projects
My firm has two projects coming up for which we are seeking off-site contractors. Both are PHP/MySQL.

One is a fairly straightforward ecommerce job. An existing site needs to be upgraded with inventory management, linkup with Authorize.net, and a few other things. Estimated timeframe, probably about a week.

A larger project involves a backend for a startup political organization including user db, events management, contributions database, etc. Estimated timeframe, about a month.

If one or both of these sound interesting to you, please tell us more about how you work, your capabilities, and your rates. We'd be interested in seeing samples of completed jobs. For tax reasons, we prefer programmers or teams located in the United States.
