Wanted: Flash MX Engineer for position in San Francisco
SUMMARY
We're looking for an innovative and creative Flash engineer. The ideal candidate has the technical skills to build data-driven Flash applications and the creative chops to solve UI design problems. Strong Flash experience and problem solving ability are requirements. UI design, rich media and motion graphics skills are highly desired. ABOUT FLUID Fluid is a SF-based digital design and technology services firm. Our roots date back to 1990, and we've been developing web-based sites and applications since 1996. Since 2000, we've specialized in Flash-based applications powered by open source backends. We have done tons of work in Java and also have a deep expertise with LAMP. In addition to heavy engineering, we have equally deep creative and project management groups. We are all passionate about doing great work, evidenced by the awards our work has received. Most notably, we won the best business application of the year award at MAX 2003, for our Flash/Tomcat/MySQL-based Avery Photo ID System desktop application. We've also won Communication Arts awards for past design work. A project we did for Avery Dennison was just featured in Newsweek and Good Morning America. Current clients include Schwab, Yahoo, Amerada Hess, Macrovision, United Tote, Macromedia, Avery Dennison and The North Face. We're always doing interesting work and it's a fun, bright and varied group of people. We've got a great work environment with high ceilings and lots of light. We're on the corner of South Park, so there's tons of good grub, bars and public transit from BART to Muni to CalTrain. We've also got a full benefits package including a great health plan, 401K and even credits for home networking costs. More information can be found at our website: URL .
