Wanted: highly skilled developer (Silicon Valley)

I have several positions open for highly skilled developers, at a major internet company. Do you fit this description?

Requirements: (do not bother applying if these are not met)
* Very strong Perl skills, or at least decent in Perl and exceptionally strong in PHP.
* Good PHP skills.
* Strong OO background. C++, Java, even PHP5 are ok. But you've got to be OO fluent in a meaningful way.
* Working knowledge of ADTs, patterns, and modern design processes
* Experience developing on Unix-like (Linux, FreeBSD, etc.) environments
* Serious database skills. At the very least, very strong mysql skills... query optimization, schema design and normalization, replication...
* Have proven experience building websites that scale.
* Apache, mysql, php configuration knowledge
* Able to function effectively in a small team, take ownership of all technical aspects of an assigned project, interface with nontechnical product managers, take direction well.
* Simple sysadmin abilities
* Able to work on all levels: as architect, developer, test & release engineer, do performance analysis, etc.
* Play well with others. No major ego.

Bonus points for: (not required but nice-to-have)
* Having done significant work on sites getting 100M+ pageviews/month
* Living in the Bay Area / Silicon Valley
* Graduate degrees from good schools in comp sci, EE, or other related field
* Messaging middleware experience
* Oracle or other "enterprise-class" DB experience
* Real-life feed processing and caching experience
* No Visa issues
* Enthusiasm for Open Source tools (cvs, twiki, bugzilla, etc.)
* Hard-core C experience on unix: daemons, network programming, shm code, etc.
* Flash ActionScript knowledge

Benefits:
* Work with a lot of smart people
* Work on interesting projects, including with high-visibility partners such as Hollywood studios, international sporting organizations, etc.
* Work for a large, growing, financially-stable internet company
* Full benefits: medical, dental, commute assistance, 401(k) with partial match, life insurance, training opportunities, education reimbursement, etc. etc.
* Typical dot-com-ish stuff: free beverages, onsite pool tables and ping-pong, etc.

If you're interested, send me a 'private message' here with your resume. Thanks!

NOTE: this is an ON-SITE position. No remote work! I am willing to relocate the right candidate(s), but vastly prefer local folks! Also, NO FIRMS. This is for private individuals looking for fulltime employment.
