Wanted MySQL Architect/Admin in SFO

Wanted for a leading provider of Internet direct marketing and loyalty service. Their direct marketing service is one of the most popular membership programs on the Web. They operate loyalty programs for many of the Web's biggest brands.

You will be responsible for daily administration of the database, schema design, database tuning and working with the engineers to design and implement the next generation database architecture. MySQL expertise is a MUST. Oracle experience is necessary.

Requirements

Installation and configuration of MySQL database.
Daily administration including upgrades, backups, security, user and resource management.

Perform data migration from Oracle to MySQL
Work with the engineering team to design, implement and support the next generation of database architecture.

Performance tuning, including implementation of triggers and stored procedures.

Familiarity with Java and JDBC is a plus.
