WANTED - Need Web Site design & answers

Hi,

I need a fairly simple web site designed and built that looks very proffesional and simple to navigate. This will be a soft adult site so I will be using some type of credit card subscription method.

I need to discuss this with someone as a few other projects in the future (non adult site related) will also be required.

I do not know much about css, php, cgi etc. etc. so do not know what is required from the start.

Does this website need to have certain things so that when I upload the finished site to a hoster, will it be very secure, do I need to find out about ssl etc.. on the hosting site or would a merchant bank provide that for me etc..

I have lots of questions for the developer who has some experience in this matter and I am happy with to develop the first site for me.

I also need to know who would own the copyright to the sitescripts etc., as this really needs to fall in my hands, though this would not take away the fact of any support you may offer.

please provide any links on this board to previous work etc.. and any other questions/answers you may feel neccessary for someone that is web site illiterate and about to start a company via the internet.

I have been dabbling with a web building site tool but cannot get the hang it. Also the site will abviously need to be updated regulary by my self and I need to ask questions about that too.

Few things to keep in mind - for your current venture of soft adult site - you need to make sure the hosting company will allow you to publish that type of material - not that no one will let you, you just need to find a host that will let you.

You mentioned that you are unaware of CSS, PHP, CGI etc but you know the terminology, anyway, leave this to the techie. Find a techie who has experience in the type of work you are about to offer.

If you are offering paid services, and accepting CC info, better to have your own SSL. Verisign offers a very good package on this, (SSL + Internet Merchant A/c).

Your best bet would be to find a guy who would work very closely with you since - requirements will be a major issue. Technically things could be difficult but not impossible, but if requirements are not clear, your end result will definitely disappoint you.

If you have any non-adult related work to be done, I would be interested, not comfortable with Adult sites.

I am lookin to set up a subscription based web site (soft adult material/glamour). I need someone to design and build a simple yet professional looking site (easy to navgate (quick loading) and very secure. I have a credit card subscription provider in mind as I do for a layout of the site, but am open to suggestions.

I need to be able to administer/update this site on a regular basis, and need to know about the copyright of the actual site that is designed and built by whoever I choose. I mean copyright in the term of I am able to duplicate, modify, change aspects of the site in the future to suit my business on my own.

Obviously a main page that has link to a tour facility, members link, copyright and legal links (which I have legal documents to add already). The basic links really that an adult related site would contain. Galleries to be in thumbnails etc..

I would like to see this working before full and final payment, money can be left in escrow if prefered.

I would hope that some period of time is also included for bugs, and support, also need advise on uploading to a hoster and any security implications that might have. Also getting into top listing of many search engines.

I am not fully knowledgeable on this sort of thing so any advise questions etc.. (do I need php, css, ssl etc...) you may feel I need to ask please advise. What you may deem to be easy questions are probably racking my brain at the moment.

So in brief:
need website designed and built
need help/advise on uploading to hoster
need help setting everything up so all I have to do is update the site when i need to.
need advise on securing my whois details after registering domains from spammers etc..

Please let me see any portfolio's etc..

The amount state $100-$500 is not absolute depending on the work involved. But please do not reply with any amount way above the maximum mark.

I currently have dreamweaver mx, which I am slowly learning, so would prefer anything in this.
Also have another 2 projects (non adult related) in mind on success of this site.

I am not sure if you would find a programmer in US who would do your site with the budget you have - maybe a school graduate desperate of job or even a student. If you want professional looking site done by a professional - you may want to try overseas - this is my opinion - don't take it as my suggestion/advice.
