WANTED: PHP/mySQL programmer in SF bay area

PHP, MYSQL WEB DEVELOPER

THE JOB:
You will essentially be a minion to our lead developer. You will be cleaning up old, rushed, crappy code to make it bulletproof and purring like a contented cat. You will be extending it for new features, as well as fixing bugs and documentation. You must have an eye for security, scalability, and preferably you have experience with working at extremely well trafficked, database intensive websites. We work in the UNIX environment, you will too. Start date immediately or sooner.

You must be adaptable to coding standards, able to receive direction, and willing to keep up to date with the technologies you use.

You will be working part time on contract for a small business in San Francisco. Working from home is ok, face to face meeting time is required, therefore you MUST live in San Francisco or the bay area. We cannot provide you with a work visa. We are an equal opportunity employer. YOU MUST HAVE:
- completely up to date PHP experience
- MySQL
- XHTML
- CVS


Please do not be easily distracted. The contract is for a very cool, community-centric website and so you must be able to focus on your work. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO MEET DEADLINES AND FORECAST YOUR TIME ACCURATELY! Please do not be lazy or flaky.

It is really important that you are completely and thoroughly versed in PHP and MySQL. There is no time to train you; we cannot wait for you to learn as you go. Please do not reply if you are just getting familiar with these languages. Really.
