Wanted: PHP/Mysql Web Developer/Programmer

DESCRIPTION
Founded in 1995, Animation World Network (AWN.com) is the leading publisher of animation and visual effects-related news and information resources on the Internet. We're located in Hollywood, California.

We are looking for an experienced web designer / programmer who is highly skilled in php / mysql and UNIX/Linux server environments. This is a lead developer position involving maintaining existing websites, creating new websites and migrating content from old systems to new systems.

This is a full-time on-site staff position. We are also looking for freelance resources with similar capabilities, where location is not an issues. However, my focus is on filling this staff position as soon as possible.

REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have excellent demonstrable skills in developing websites using php and mysql, including dynamic page creation via databased datasets.

Must have expert knowledge of html, css, xml, digital graphic tools, javascript, UNIX/Linux, Mac and PCs.

This is a critical position that requires a person who can handle tight deadlines, potentially round-the-clock system oversight, work independently and integrate into a tightly-knit group of professionals.
