Unit Description

Insivia Technologies, LLC is an innovative, rapidly growing technology and marketing firm. Insivia is based in Cleveland, Ohio.

Major Functional Areas and Description of Duties

• 60% Client Solutions/Application Development
• 25% Project Management
• 15% various additional duties which could include Client Training, Client Support and other customer related duties.

Client Solutions/Application Development - 60%
Will assist in software development strategies and implement those strategies using the necessary programming and database knowledge. Use various methods to accomplish strategy with both in-house and outsourced resources.

Highly evolved skills should include:

• PHP
• MYSQL
• JavaScript
• HTML
• DHTML
• Relational Databases.

Experience with CGI, Perl, ASP, ASP.Net, Python, Zope, Flash/Action script, photoshop, and server administration is a plus.

Project Management - 25%
Manage client solutions throughout project life-cycle.
• Communicate with clients
• Evaluate projects and create implementation strategies
• Research and manage contract development
• Monitoring and reporting project status

Additional Duties - 15%



Qualifications

Overall
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in Computer or Information Technology.
• Strong customer service skills and experience.
• Strong organization and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to research and learn new skills quickly

Technical Skills
• Recent experience in the development of online applications
• Willingness and ability to learn new operating systems, application software packages or programming languages.
• Experience with languages such as PHP, JavaScript, HTML and other Web based programming
• Understanding of relational databases
• Experience with various Operating systems, Web servers and other related applications

Problem Solving and Administrative skills
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining a complicated schedule for services and resources, and following up with service providers if agreed schedule is altered.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and requests and ensure all are completed with high quality in a timely fashion.
• Demonstrated ability to understand the overview of issues, while maintaining attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and assimilate a variety of information from oral and written sources.
• Demonstrated experience solving problems of a moderate to complex level.

Communication
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, grammatically correct documentation, and to evaluate and edit documentation written by others.
• Demonstrated ability to make clear, effective, grammatically correct presentations to technical and non-technical groups.
• Able to learn and absorb new information, both technical and procedural, and disseminate it to end-users of varying computing skills.
• Recent experience in providing technical and non-technical support over the phone, by email and in person.

Professionalism
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team providing high quality, customer-focused services to faculty and staff from all areas of campus.
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks independently, on time, and within established parameters.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time well in the presence of conflicts between immediate user/customer demands and assigned ongoing projects.
• Ability to confidentially and securely manage passwords and other secure information
• Able to use discretion and judgment in confidential matters, and to resolve conflicts tactfully and with sensitivity.
