I was wondering if anybody had a good book for learning Javascript? I have programmed in Perl and PHP so all I really need is a reference. I also have a lower budget.

A good book to read is "Platinum Edition, Using HTML 4, XML, and Java 1.2" The name is deceiving, since it does deal with a lot of JavaScript. Even better, "Instant Javascript" by Nigel McFarlane. This is a GREAT resource for JavaScript. I also have a free JavaScript help section at my site www.sitesuwant.com.
