Does anyone out there know how I could (from an iPlanet Web Server), submit an HTTP request, to another web site, and capture the response?

I have a client who wants to create a web page, a portion of the content of which is actually realtime infomation from another third party web site. I need to know how I could have my web server actually become a client, post a form to this third party site, get the response, parse it, and build my client's HTML page accordingly.

Any ideas on this one?
