I am opening a new window with a java script.
This script expands this new window to a specified size. Is there a way to close the main window without the confirmation ? Thanks |

A lot of people have asked about this and I'm afraid there doesn't seem to be a way to avoid the confirmation (I think it's a security issue).
On the other hand you can resize the current browser window without having to popup a new one - try http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex8/automax.htm and adapt it to your needs. |

Thanks for the reply.
(and the url) But this not exactly what I wanted, I have solved the problem right now with frames, but what I wanted to do was turning the scroll bars of in my main window. Popping up a new window and closing the old one was my first id. |
