I developed some links that can collapse and expand using DHTML. It is very similar to the left column of the explorer where you click on a folder, it expands, then click it again and it collapse. My documents are a bunch of links, and I am having trouble trying to figure out the scripts that would allow to documents to remain where it's been left at when the user clicks on the link to a new page with the same document. Right now, if the user clicks on the link, the documents will collapse to where it started.
Can anyone help me? |

hiya,
you could have your menu in a frame on the left loading pages in a frame to the right.. i'm not much of a frames guy but that should work ok |

Of course it would be easier to use frames, but you can't bookmark it. However, I did put the menu inside an inner frame so that I can move my cursor to the left side of the screen and the frame will pop out, so basically the menu is in a seperate html document. I know it can be done with IE, but it would be nice to know if it could be done with Netscape.
