I've used colspan="2" in this page:

http://pleasantbay.net/contact.htm

In IE, the page collapses just fine, but in NN the page won't collapse all the way.

Is there a rule or commonly known explanation for this problem? Is there a work-around?

what exactly is the probelm? looks quite similar in ie5 ind ns47...
