I use alot of .pdf file datasheets as a part of work, so to keep them in a usable order I created various web pages for ease of access. It is now becoming tedious and a very large task top update each page, as and when I add more to the server.

Is it possible to have use two drop down menu's, the first to select directory and the second to look into a particular that directory and have the contents of that directory listed as the links?

I know I can do this by having each option typed as an individual option, but I would like this process to be made easier for myself and colleagues. Ideally I would like to simply drop a new item into the directory and next time the menu page is opened, it has been refreshed with the new contents.

    Thanks in anticipation.

I'd use a server side script (PHP, Perl) to do this. It can look into the directory and build the list of files for you.
