    A reference to parent.FRAME.location.href gives the URL of a frame FRAME. However, the function does not work if the URL does not reside on your server. Is there any way to get around this? I

    Yes please if anyone knows how to get the URL of a sibling frame in Internet Explorer, post here or email me at 3dstudiomike@home.com.

    I have a window with 2 frames.
    Frame1 has a button, which, when clicked, is supposed to retreive the URL currently in Frame2.

    Frame2URL= parent.Frame2.location.href;

    Internet Explorer in some way prevents this to prevent ppl from finding out the contents of your other windows. (Or so I've heard). Please is there ANY way to read the URL of a sibling frame?

    Thanx,
    Mike
