I recently found that gif-images with transparency (GIF89) in IE5 are often distorted. Only when an event occurs (like an OnMouseOver) the images turn back to normal (check out the navbar at http://www.luckylenn.nl). I've checked it on different computers.
Microsoft doesn't report this as a known bug and so far none of the obvious devplatforms did either!
I tried putting onload="this.focus()" in the body but it didn't work. I really need to find an answer to this one because I hate color-differences between browsers!
I hope someone can help me with this one.
