Hi there
this may sound like a stupid question but.... I want to be able to let people download gifs and jpegs in the same fashion as one would dowload say a zip file and not by right clicking and saying Save As.. The download should initiate as soon as the user clicks on the hyperlink.. can anyone help ?? thanks |

I don't think that's possible, unless you rename the file to some other extension. But that's not user friendly, is it?

The easiest solution to your problem is to just put the gif's and jpg's in a zip file.

I don't know what sort of languages you have access too. You might be able to get away with changing the message below into a html header. Its just a thought I don't know whether it would work or not.

You could just rename the extention:
example.gif --> example.gif.err example.jpg --> example.jpg.err ------------------ regds.. -ulrik- |
