Hi there

this may sound like a stupid question but....

I want to be able to let people download gifs and jpegs in the same fashion as one would dowload say a zip file and not by right clicking and saying Save As..
The download should initiate as soon as the user clicks on the hyperlink.. can anyone help ??

thanks

Send a message via ICQ to zreo
I don't think that's possible, unless you rename the file to some other extension. But that's not user friendly, is it? )

The easiest solution to your problem is to just put the gif's and jpg's in a zip file.

I don't know what sort of languages you have access too. You might be able to get away with changing the message below into a html header. Its just a thought I don't know whether it would work or not.

You could just rename the extention:

example.gif --> example.gif.err

example.jpg --> example.jpg.err
