drop down menu. help PLEASE!!!

I am in need of a menu that will appear when a viewer rolls over a button. This "drop down" menu must contain up to 4 clickable subcategories. I hope this is clear enough to understand. Please go on the assumption that I know NO java or js. If there is a way to do this in HTML please let me know in addition to the java and/or js .

is a similar type of scripting that might help you. The title (name) is Links Menu. It may not be exactly what you are looking for but with the source code provided you may be able to make what you need.
