I have a web page with a number of overlapping layers, one of which the user can scroll. On this layer I have a number of drop down lists in a form but when it is scrolled the drop downs do not obey the z-ordering and appear above all layers even when they should be hidden. I need to retrieve the form values in the next page when the user has submitted so I can't use a DHTML drop down instead. Any suggestions?

sorry, either figure out a way to have a dhtml drop down pass form values, or forget about it...z-indexing has nothing to do with it:
