Anybody know what type of file .mv is ?
I found it on online website http://www.akademianet.com
try to explore it

I try to view source but it's empty.
Then I save the page and look at the source... guess what I found...
it's look like a normal HTML file.

My question is :
1. Is it really a normal HTML page or something else ??
2. If it's a HTML page, why in the address bar written as .mv file ?
3. Is it manipulated in the server or what ???

Thx alot !!!
See ya

I don't know why you couldn't view source, I could.

Extensions don't HAVE to mean anything. You can configure your web server to serve or parse any extension any way you like. This instance you are getting the output of some sort of server side scripting.

a .mv file extension is associated with miva scripting, formerly htmlscripting. it's an xml based server side scripting language. check out www.miva.com for more information. word.

the MV stands for Mia Miva, a programming language alike PHP. Probably not as advanced, not sure about now, was a few years since I worked with it.

You can take a look at it at www.miva.com
With Miva it will hide the miva codes in the source and with some things you was able to hide some HTML codes with it too, that's why it looked blank.

Miva is just another database language

I looked at www.miva.com

What should I do with the web server so it enable the MV scipt ??

miva script is xml - so you need an xml parser - and probably one that is specific to miva script's specifications. they have there own proprietary empressa engine and it's fairly cheap licencing.
