Given any relatively posistioned object on the page, how do I determine its absolute position in IE? That is, what is the coordinates from 0,0 of the BODY object relative to the page? The offset properties and the style.left & .top properties give the coordinates relative to its parent. And for some reason, clientLeft and clientTop are undefined. In Netscape, I can use the pageX and pageY properties. Is there an equivalent in IE? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
