    Force reload of specific frames on button click

    Hi All,

    I have a frameset, one of the frames has just 3 buttons in it with the following html code behind it:

    Code:
    <html>
        <head>
            <title>Button Ribbon</title>
            <meta charset="UTF-8">
            <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
        </head>
        <body style="background-color: forestgreen;">
            <table>
            <tr>
            <td>
            <form action="phplist1.php" target="frame_c">
            <input type="submit" value="Clients" />
            </form>
            </td>
            <td>
            <form action="phplist2.php" target="frame_c">
            <input type="submit" value="Horses" />
            </form>
            </td>
            <td>
            <form action="employees.html" target="frame_c">
            <input type="submit" value="Employees" />
            </form>
            </td>
            </tr>
            </table>
        </body>
    </html>
    What I am trying to implement, and struggling , is a method that forces frame_c, frame_d, frame_, and frame_f to refresh to blank when another one of the top buttons is clicked. Can anyone offer any assistance please?

    Many Thanks,
    Graham

    Can you explain what you mean with "refresh to blank"? I guess you don't refer to the _blank target?

    But with the possibilities of web design we have today, you should not use frames any more.

    Hi There,

    Many thanks for your reply, when the page initially loads the aforementioned frames are loaded with a basic "blank.html".

    Ideally, when I click one of the buttons, (All produced as the submit input type of html forms) I'd like those frames to be returned to the blank.html page, whilst also loading the page listed in the firm's action attribute..

    Many Thanks,
    Graham.

    You might have a look at JavaScript, if you want to change multiple frames with one click.
