Hi
I have a form where i use a javascript to check if the form is correctly filled before the form is submitted. The problem is that if the user presses return instead of clicking "submit" the script isn't called. Is there any way do prevent the user from pressing return to submit? // Martin |

I don't quite understand what you're saying.... It sounds like you're saying that when someone hits RETURN, the page does nothing. I know that this happens in Netscape, where if you hit RETURN nothing happens. In Internet Explorer, if RETURN is hit, it does send the form data. Basically it's a call between the browsers. I think that the users would notice it if when they hit RETURN and nothing happens. My advice, just put a notice above the submit button that says "Please click "submit" below to process this form" or something to that effect. Hope this helps.

Somthing else you will find is that a good number of people have javascript turned off so it dosen't matter how they activate the submit process. Look into using PHP or PERL for validation, it will solve both problems.
