| Frame 1 - Contains Menu | | | --------------------------------------------- | | | | | Frame| Frame 3 (Main Frame)|Frame 4 | | 2 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | --------------------------------------------- I have got a frames page like the above. i 've written a java script which gives a drop down menu the menu is working fine but the problem is that the drop down menu opens behind the frame 3(Main). how do i over come this?

it cant be done because window elements cant exist outside of their own window. you were supposed to be able to do this ie5.5 but have not seen it work yet.
