Hey people!
My frames work ok in explorer but in netscape they are a few pixels out, like there is still a boarder on them. Im using dreamweaver and i need to know how to get my web site working on both broswers. Thanx CV :-) |

If you look in the BODY tag to this page, you will see:
marginheight=0 marginwidth=0 topmargin=0 leftmargin=0 rightmargin=0 This pretty much covers all bases for the different browsers. Just put this inside the BODY of each frame. |

You could already set this in your frameset and frame tags.
marginheight=0 marginwidth=0 topmargin=0 leftmargin=0 rightmargin=0 Also set FRAMEBORDER=0 in the frameset and frame tags. Finally give your frameset, and src files all the same backgroundcolor. If there still is a border they won't show because of the color. ------------------ Good luck, Bas ------------------ E-mail me at: b.vandermeijden@pecoma.nl |

Hey!
marginwidth=0 and stuff is not necessary making your problem go away, although it's a must if you work with frames. In this case, you must increase size of a frame for a few pixels. I think this has something to do with Netscapes toolbars. If you close one, it's better... I use frames only when I'm creating page that opens in new window without any toolbars or statusbar. Take care, Vinci |
