    out = "height: " + self.innerHeight + " width: " + self.innerWidth;
    window.status = out;


    this workes in NS, but I can't get it working in IE, what am I doing wrong?

    For NS use:
    window.innerWidth
    window.innerHeight

    For IE use:
    document.body.offsetWidth
    document.body.offsetHeight
