I have a js. file in the head tags, and a pointer inside the body tag eg. body onload="" the problem is this is a menu script and I dont want it at the top of the page, more directly I want it under a title banner. Anyone help with changing the placement using my scenario? Thanks

The script itself will contain the instructions as where to place the menu, where you place the script - or call it from makes no difference.

look in the script itself , many menu scripts let you change the positioning.

thanks I'll check the script files. I noticed your closing Firepages...I just installed the bundle for win98, I've never worked with databases much before. Any advice on how to get started with the MyAdmin? Also I placed a .htm file in the root...but wasnt able to see it. I guess I'm not use to working with a local server and a database, and there doesnt seem to be much help out there for using phpMyAdmin. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there,
as for the script, the top & Left position the layer containing the menu (I assume) , make a copy of your page and try and change them ie: top:100;left:100; & see what happens - wether it works will depend on the complexity of the script.

But to be sure I would have to see the script - if you want to post or mail me the url - or the url of the script I will take a look.

As for the bundle, is Apache running? does the dos window open and stay open & can you see anyting by navigating to http://localhost
let me know if this is working first.
