Help with 'Submit' function - for searching

I am using Dreamweaver 3. My search function works fine from the home page (frames) the first time only. After the matches are returned, if you search again, it directs all returns to an independent shopping cart secure website, putting whatever item that was on the original search return in a shopping cart. I am trying to develop an e-commerce site that includes this shopping cart, but I just want to be able to search right now. Is there some type of 'reset' tag that can be inserted so that the current cgi string is erased before performing the 'submit'?
