What is HTML?
Hello Guy's Please tell me about HTML, i want learn if you have any URL then share with us...
I much prefer to use w3schools html tutorial for HTML tutorials and it's what I used as well. This starts at the start of HTML, the very basics. It's easy to follow as a beginner since you don't get huge lists of information thrown at you that make no sense yet.
If you choose to use w3schools, keep this well in mind (Thanks Winters).

I would not recommend W3Schools to anyone, ever. Have a look at the link at the bottom of my signature.
w3schools.com, htmlgoodies.com are all great sites, http://www.b254.com is good for realtime html coding and view

It's a "markup" language, not a "scripting" language.

Please do not post links to that site here. There are better resources elsewhere. I recommend you read this: W3Fools: A W3Schools Intervention

you're talking to a spam bot. And I doubt this thread has any purpose except giving some bot armada the chance to drop their stuff (mostly w3schools spam, obviously).

What is HTML?
HTML is the "language" that web pages are written in - in fact, HTML stands for "hypertext mark-up language." But what does that mean?
Hyper is the opposite of linear. Old-fashioned computer programs were necessarily linear - that is, they had a specific order. But with a "hyper" language such as HTML, the user can go anywhere on the web page at any time.
Text is just what you're looking at now - English characters used to make up ordinary words.
Mark-up is what is done to the text to change its appearance. For instance, "marking up" your text with <b> before it and </b> after it will put that text in bold.
Language is just that. HTML is the language that computers read in order to understand web pages.
