Images in <header> element overflow header

I am returning to HTML after 14 years of absence, things have changed!

I have made a page with a header, section and footer.

I am trying to put three images in the <header> element with a heading, some (random) content in the <section> and some stuff in the <footer>.

But the images are overflowing out of the <header>.

I need some help to get moving in the right direction. I have been reading in circles on the MDN site about layouts but none of it makes much sense to me.

The page is up at killmartha dot com /KillMartha.html

    cheers

remove the header class from your <header> tag and leave it in the <figure> tag
