    Hi - I am having problems with some graphics in HTML. The graphic is inside a table, and when the browser window is resized (IE at the moment)the graphic disappears completely.

    Does anyone know a way around this - either to resize the graphic, or just to have it cropped when the window shrinks instead of disappearing?

    Thanks
    Jo

    Thats very strange. Why don't post the HTML code of the table and the image?

    Hi - I figured out what the problem is but not how to fix it!

    My image is wrapping around to the next line, but as the frame is a set size it looks like it is disappearing as it disappears off the bottom of the frame. If you extend the size of the frame you can see that the image appears on the next line.

    It is only this one image that does this and I can't figure out why... attached is the code (it is janok.gif that has the problem). Thanks everyone... Jo

    Try dropping those two initial images (04_30_t.gif and janok.gif) into two table data cells--one quick workaround would be to nest a table within your initial <td> cell, devoting a cell and/or row to each image.

    Without the actual image dimensions (they're not in the code you posted), it's hard to tell if this'll work with your current layout. But it seems to mesh pretty well with 640x480--good luck!

    What's with the HSPACE?
    <IMG HSPACE="20" SRC="../graphics/janok.gif" width="220" height="40" noWrap align="absmiddle">

    Take the HSPACE="20" out and noWrap also. Other than that, there should be no problem.

    Thanks everyone - I got it working. I left the HSPACE in (puts some horizontal space around the graphic I think/hope!) and tidied up the rest of my code a bit and it seemed to sort itself out.

    Cheers
