I have been working on a couple of sites in the last couple of months and on those places i found a tag that i was unfamiliar with. It was INCLUDE. The problem is my foult alone, I should have written it down someware but i didnt. So here I am asking around about it. If I´m righ about this, then you should be able to insert the text from a external document to a place of my choise. Corect me if I´m wrong. Regerds: Nicolas Bertlin |

Your right on this.
Check out the online PHP-manual. You need to be on a PHP-server to use this handy feature. <---- html ----> <?php include "bla.inc"; // your file to be included ?> <---- html ----> R. |

No I must say that what you wrote about PHP isn´t what i was working with. The code started with:
<!--#include Im not sure but I think it was "Server Side Include". Is it still PHP that Im looking for? Anyway. Its what comes after the #include im interested in. If you know anything about it, please let me know. Nicolas Bertlin OOps! Just found it. Forgett about this last post. Just what I was looking for was right on: http://bignosebird.com/ssi.shtml [This message has been edited by Nicobertlin (edited August 21, 2000).] |
